Updating the Firmware
Firmware stored in the ROM on the following boards can be updating by using a USB drive.

Preparation
Copy the files for the update to the root directory of the USB memory.
Tip
Up to six files for update can be included in the root directory.
Note
To obtain the files for update, contact your local Sony Sales Office/Service Center.
Procedure
1.
Insert the USB memory that contains the files for the update into the USB connector on the front panel.
Note
• Do not connect any device other than the USB memory device that contains the files for update to the USB
connector.
• Do not connect two or more USB memory devices.
