4-1-3 Various Types of Acquisition Data

The data that can be acquired in the high speed multi-point laser displacement
sensor HL-D3 series are the following three types:
・ Detected light intensity image (acquired from the detected light intensity screen)
・ Displacement shape waveform (acquired from the detected light intensity
screen or the buffering function)
・ Displacement calculation measurement value (acquired from the buffering
function)
 Detected light intensity image
The line beam is radiated to a workpiece and detected by the light receiving
element. It is the image to check the light intensity status. It can be acquired
from the "Detected light intensity image window". It is used to opti mize the
beam strength. It can be saved in special file format (.esp) or bitmap format
(.bmp).

 Displacement shape waveform
When the line beam is radiated to a workpiece, each displacement for the
beam length (hereinafter referred to as width (X)) on the uneven shape of the
workpiece is measured. The measurement data acquired here is called "Dis-
placement shape waveform".
It is the waveform to indicate the width (X) position [mm] for the horizontal
axis and height (= displacement: Z) displacement [mm] for the vertical axis. It
can be saved in CSV format.
Since the number of displacement data is different along with change of the
width pitch for each measurement mode, the plot display of the shape wave-
form is changed.
* To display the connection between the displacement data, open the window
from the upper menu on the main screen; "System" → "System setting".
The data can be changed by "Measurement information".
