 Restrictions in Principle
The HL-D3 series uses the triangle distance measuring method. There are
areas that cannot be measured, depending on the object, shape and sensor
head position.
The angle between the laser emitting surface, center distance and light
receiving surface is called "light emission/reception angle". If there is
difference in height (step) due to this light emission/reception angle, the
reflection light may not be received at the reception area.
Use the system, paying attention to the directions of the area to be measured
and the sensor.
