Chapter 4 Description of Functions
*1: When the continuous measurement is stopped and restarted, the slope
correction will be canceled. Perform a reset input to execute the slope correc-
tion.
*2: When data is acquired while buffering is being used, continuous mea s-
urement will stop. Use this function when performing buffering with the same
slope correction angle again.
*3: Reset input cannot be used when perform at every measurement is speci-
4
fied. Also, this function cannot be used in the "Multi-select D.S. meas. mode"
and "Const.-pitch meas. mode".
●Timing of slope correction by external input
 When the reset input (RS1, RS2) is ON (2.5 ms or more), obtain the slope
angle from the displacement data of the two specified locations. Correct the
overall slope of the displacement shape waveform according to the angle.
 Reset input of the slope correction is executed for the target head selected
by the OUT setting.
 Correction is performed for the height (Z axis) data of each point and the
pitch of the width (X axis) is not corrected.(Correction of projection)
 When hold measurement is selected, reset of the hold measurement value
and the slope correction are executed with the reset input at the same time.
Only slope correction cannot be executed.
 When OUT1 to OUT3 have the same target head, the slope correction is
executed with either of the reset input.
 Even if "No calculation" is selected in OUT1 to OUT3, the slope correction
is executed for the target head selected for each OUT.
●Slope correction performed at every measurement
 The slope angle is acquired from the displacement data in the 2 locations
specified for every measurement, to correct the slope of the overall shape
waveform.

Acquires the average height in the specified area,
to correct the slope at 2 points in the center. Cor-
rects the slope for every measurement.
Corrects the slope using the maximum height in
the specified area. Corrects the slope for every
