Description
Returns 2 data bytes:
• Bytes 0 and 1= Pulsing duty cycle in %
(on time)
Command 96 sets this value.
Reports the software revision level as a three-
character ASCII string: one letter and two
numbers. You can use this number in
conjunction with the part number returned by
command 130 to identify the software in the
unit.
Sending a request data byte is optional. If you
issue command 198 with zero data bytes, it
returns the Coldfire application firmware
revision. Sending 1 data byte allows you to
select the software for which the revision will
be returned.
Send 1 data byte (8-bit value).
• Byte 0 = Software request
◦ 0 = Coldfire application firmware
revision
◦ 1 = Motherboard FPGA firmware
revision
◦ 2 = Measurement board FPGA
firmware revision
◦ 4 = ColdFire bootloader firmware
revision
◦ 13 = Display board application
firmware revision
◦ 15 = Display board bootloader
firmware revision
Returns a 3-element ASCII character string:
• Byte 0 = ASCII revision level letter
• Bytes 1 and 2 = ASCII revision level
numerals (0 to 99)
