Communications Interface
The
communications interface PCB
is
located in the data monito1ing section in the
front
upper
light of the inve1ter. The p1imary
pmpose
of the communications
inte1face
PCB
is to provide a means to communicate with the inve1ter through either
Modbus
RTU
or Modbus TCP/IP. These connections can be used for third
pa1ty
monito1ing or for web-based inve1ter monito1ing by using the AE mypvpower.com
(which
uses a proplietaiy Ethernet protocol).
The
communications interface
PCB
includes:
RJ45 Ethernet
port
for network connectivity
• Remote
disable te1minal
blocks,
which allow the inve1ter to be disabled through
external methods such as an
e-stop,
generator
interlock,
or fire alarm panel
• Bina1y
Modbus device addressing switch
Modbus
slave
po1t te1minal blocks for daisy-chain connection to an RS-485
network
