fustallations in
Canada
must be in accordance
with
the
Canadian
Electiical
Code (CEC)
or applicable
local
standards.
• Use only
conductors with
a minimum
insulation
temperature rating of 90°C.
This equipment is intended to be installed as pait
of
a pennanently grounded
electrical
system
per the NEC or
local
standards.
The
inve1ter
is
electiically connected
to
the DC photovoltaic airny in the DC
combiner
subpanel
which
includes a
positive, negative,
and
grounded
bus bar. The
PV airny is grounded internally by means
of
the ground fault detector intenuptor
(GFDI).
The
inve1ter
can
be
ordered
with an
optional
fused subcombiner.
The fused
subcombiners
have
individual
input
tenninals
for each fuse
block.
These
te1
m
inals
require the use of a torque wrench to properly
install
the inte1face cables.
Use
proper
torque values
of
DC
subcombiner
box
wire
mounting hardware.
The
inve1ter
is
fact01y configured
for
the appropriate three-phase output:

The
inve1ter
is
electiically connected to the utility grid at the AC landing within the
AC
section on
the front right
side
of the inve1ter. These te1minals require the use of a
UL-approved
connector ce1tified for use with the selected interface
cables:

together
through conduit and gland
plates,
which
allow
any
inductive
cunents produced to be cancelled out. Use proper torque
values
for
te1minal lug mounting
hai·dwai·e.
A copper clad ea1th grounding electrode
must
be installed
within
three feet
(one
meter) of the unit. The AC ground
bus
bai· located in the AC
section,
the lower front
compai1ment,
must
be
used as
the single point
connection
to the ea1th grounding
electi·ode for the inve1ter
system.
A DC ground bus bar is
provided
for the
convenience
of
the
installers.
The DC and AC
ground
bus bai·s are solidly bonded
together inside the cabinet. If
present,
a DC Grounding Electi·ode
Conductor (GEC)
may be bonded to the DC
ground
bai-. Where pe1mitted by
NEC,
a single conductor
that meets
all
the requirements
of
both DC GEC and AC equipment
ground
may be
bonded to the AC ground bai-.
AC overcunent protection for the utility interconnect (giid-tied)
must
be provided by
installers
as pait of the
installation.
Fire Prevention
Be
