ADJUSTING THE QUALITY CONTROL UNIT

Set the sensors for inspecting the liners and check their operating positions.
The adjustments required depend on the profile of the liner; at times, the sensors may have to be replaced. Also check
the sensor that monitors thickness and the vacuum system settings.
The central sensor may or may not be installed depending on the type of liner to be checked.
A complete set of sample caps is required for some adjustment procedures. These should have the number of the
forming punch stamped on the liner.
The sample caps should be produced with the sensing spindles removed from the machine to prevent the liners from
being deformed if the sensing spindles are not adjusted properly.
