SENSITIVITY LEVEL ADJUSTMENT

(References given in figure 7.6.5)
Use a tester (if possible analog) which gives readings in volts and place the prod "ø" of the tester in test point "ø"
(TPø, see diagram).
- Place the "+" prod of the tester in test point "1" (TP1). The value measured can vary from 4 to 6 V.
- Place the "+" prod of the tester in test point "2" (TP2). Adjust trimmer "P6" until the tester reads a voltage 0.5 V lower
than the one previously measured.
The sensitivity increases if the reading is decreased by 0.5 V and decreases if it is increased by 0.5 V.

EQUIPMENT AND PRECAUTIONS chapter).
7.5.7

ADJUSTING THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT CONTROL DEVICES

- This adjustment is required to locate the best point to trigger the ejection valve and therefore eject defective caps.
- Go to page "C" (machine data page 2) from the control keyboard (see the Instructions B manual).
- Use the "Delay time for starting the pellet blower" data item to adjust the delay time for activating the solenoid valve.
Use the "Length of blower operation for ejection" data item to set the time it operates.
- If, after trial running the machine, the cap placed before the defective one is ejected, increase the delay time. On the
other hand, if the cap after the defective one is ejected, decrease the delay time.
- If the cap to be ejected is not properly directed to the channel, increase the time air is blown.
- If both the defective cap and the one following it are ejected, decrease the time air is blown.
