4.2

ASSEMBLING THE MACHINE

The machine assemblies must be placed in a suitable area in
the work-shop, as indicated in the layout provided. The assembly
operations must be carried out in the order given following the
procedures described below.
4.2.1

DRUM BASE

- Mark the axes and the outline of the base (see lay-out) in the
exact location the drum base is to be placed in.
- Lift the base as directed above.
- Loosen the levelling screws (A) (fully in)
- Put a few wooden blocks or other suitable objects (4 cm thick)
where the base is to be placed. Be careful not to put them
beneath the levelling screws.
- Place the base on the blocks and make sure it is in the exact
position indicated in the layout provided.
- Place the base plates (B) beneath the base near the levelling
screws (A)
- Turn the screws (A) until their ends enter the holes in the plate
(B).
- Remove the wooden blocks.
- Level the base by working at points "P". Place a spirit level (L)
as shown in the figure. Once the correct level has been
obtained, work on the other screws until the base is completely
level at all the other points.

Always use lift equipment with an adequate lift capacity to bear the loads, as indicated in the "WEIGHTS AND
DIMENSIONS" paragraph. Before lifting, make sure the systems are working properly.
