Oscillation

13.2 Oscillation controlled by synchronized actions (OSCILL)

Oscillation with motion-synchronous actions and stopping times
Once the set stop times have expired, the internal block change is executed during
oscillation (indicated by the new distances to go of the axes). The deactivation function is
checked when the block changes. The deactivation function is defined according to the
control setting for the motion sequence (
by the feed override.
An oscillation stroke may then be executed before the sparking-out strokes are started or the
end position approached.
this is not in fact the case.
13.2
Oscillation controlled by synchronized actions (OSCILL)
Function
With this mode of oscillation, an infeed motion may only be executed at the reversal points or
within defined reversal areas.
Depending on requirements, the oscillation movement can be
● Continued or
● Stopped until the infeed has finished executing.
Syntax
1. Define parameters for oscillation
2. Define motion-synchronous actions
3. Assign axes, define infeed
Meaning
OSP1[<oscillating axis>]=
OSP2[<oscillating axis>]=
OST1[<oscillating axis>]=
OST2[<oscillating axis>]=
FA[<oscillating axis>]=
OSCTRL[<oscillating axis>]=
OSNSC[<oscillating axis>]=
OSE[<oscillating axis>]=
WAITP(<oscillating axis>)

).
OSCTRL
Although it appears as if the deactivation response has changed,
Position of reversal point 1
Position of reversal point 2
Stopping time at reversal point 1 in seconds
Stopping time at reversal point 2 in seconds
Feed for oscillating axis
Set or reset options
Number of sparking-out strokes
End position
Enable axis for oscillation
This dynamic response can be influenced
