2.4 Restricting the working range

General
When installing the manipulator, make sure that it can move freely within its entire
working range. If there is a risk that it may collide with other objects, its working
range should be limited, both mechanically and in the system parameter
configuration (software). Installation of an optional extra stop for the main axes 1,
2 and 3 is described below.
The system parameters that must be changed (Upper joint bound and Lower joint
bound) are described in Technical reference manual - System parameters.
Axis 1
The range of rotation for axis 1 can be limited mechanically by fitting extra stop
lugs to the base, see figure.
Instructions for necessary machining and mounting are supplied with the kit.
