13 Press M key.
Roll trackball, position cursor
over area you want to see in
motion.
Press M key again.
14 Rotate B/M Gain knob
15 Press Dyn Range Arrow up or
down key.
16 Press Sweep Speed key
Press it again to exit.
17 Press Freeze key.
Press it again to exit.
18 Press Edge Enhc key.
19 Press B key.
Expected Result
The M mode timeline should appear next to the B
image as shown in ILLUSTRATION 4–2. Whether it
takes half the screen or two–thirds depends on the
preset.
The Mode cursor should follow trackball movement
and the timeline should update for new location of
focus.
The full M-mode should appear on the CRT monitor.
The M timeline should get brighter with CW rotation
and darker with CCW.
Dynamic Range affects grays and the last added scan
mode; to adjust the basic B, M must be off. Turn
Dynamic Range down to increase contrast, turn up to
soften.
The timeline speed should increase to 4 second
sweeps and decrease to 16 second sweeps.
Fast=4 Medium=8
The image should freeze.
The image revives acquisition.
Changes the M image
The M Mode timeline should disappear and the
B-mode image should appear as shown in
ILLUSTRATION 4–1.
