PHYSICAL INSPECTION/CLEANING
Cleaned and inspected the console?
Cleaned and inspected foot switch?
All cords and cables intact (no frays, tears or splits)?
All transducers intact
(no cracks, dents, scratches or delamination)?
All transducer connector pins straight and intact?
All transducer strain reliefs in good condition?
All transducers cleaned (after each use)?
Image monitors cleaned?
Cleaned and inspected all power supplies?
All fans and/or air filters cleaned?
Checked all cable connectors to ensure they are properly seated?
Checked all plug-in boards to ensure they are properly seated?
All wheel locks in working condition?
All wheels fastened securely? Do they rotate easily?
All "onboard" peripherals fastened securely
to the ultrasound unit (VCRs, Cameras, Printers, etc....)?
Cleaned thermal printer print head with cleaner paper?
Overall Electrical Safety and Cleanliness:
All safety problems must be rectified before the system can be returned to service or before ACR
Accreditation submittal.
