TEST NAME: MONITOR TEST
PURPOSE
To check monitor gradation ability, video circuit and video characteristics.
This test assists to check latitude (capability of density) of B/W printer.
CRITERIA
Refer to test pattern and gray scale shown on the monitor as in ILLUSTRATION 2–24. 16 gray scale
on the upper side of monitor. 16 gray scale on the lower side of monitor. The source of test pattern and
gray scale is graphic controller in MST and B_mode display memory in DSC, respectively
DISPLAY FORMAT OF RESULTS
Action if the test fails
Change the Monitor.
