6.6 Signals Related to Communication

The control signals for the expansion slot are assigned to the built-in expansion slots (slot 1: EXT1,
slot 2: EXT2) and the external expansion slot (slot 3: external EXT). The assignment of these areas
differs according to the mounted interface card.

(Note 1) This interface assignment differs according to the communication card being used. Thus,
when sharing the PLC program with a different interface card, each mounted
communication card must be identified.
