Opening the Fuel Flap
– Stop the Engine.
– Pull up the fuel filler door release
lever 1 located on the floor, right front
side of driver's seat which unlocks
the Fuel Flap A.
– Turn the fuel filler cap 2 counter-
clockwise slowly and completely un-
screw the cap.
– Remove the cap.
Do not wash the filler
area with a high-pressure
washer.

– After refuelling, replace cap. Turn it
clockwise and screw completely.
– Push the fuel filler door closed until it
latches.
NOTE: In cold weather, if the fuel filler
door does not open, tap the door lightly.
Then try to open it again.
Make sure that no water enters the fuel
tank during filling.
Réservoir carburant (XBC - Renault)
Fuel filler cap: this is specific to the
vehicle type. If you have to replace it,
make sure the new cap is of the same
type. Contact an approved dealer.
It is essential to use unleaded petrol.
Using leaded petrol will damage the
antipollution system and may lead to a
loss of warranty.
Capacity of the fuel tank: 40 litres ap-
proximately.
To fill up with fuel, the
engine must be stopped
(and not only in standby for
the vehicle fitted with the
Stop and Start function): you MUST
switch off the ignition.
Fire hazard.
