Carefully remove the quarter glass.
N O T E : C h e c k t h e q u a r t e r g l a s s t r i m a n d c l i p s f o r
damage, and replace them if necessary.

Installation
Using a knife, scrape the old adhesive smooth to a
t h i c k n e s s o f a b o u t 2 m m ( 0 . 0 8 i n ) o n t h e b o n d i n g
s u r f a c e a r o u n d t h e e n t i r e q u a r t e r g l a s s c p e n i n g
t l a n g e .
NOTE:
. Do not scrape down to the painted surface of the
body; damaged paint will interfere with proper
b o n d i n g .

Remove the rubber dams from the body.

lf any of the clips are broken, remove them from
the body.
. Mask off surrounding surfaces before applying
p n m e r .
Clean the body bonding surface with a sponge damp-
ened in alcohol.
N O T E : A f t e r c l e a n i n g . k e e p o i l , g r e a s e a n d w a t e r
from getting on the surface.
lf the quaner glass is to be reinstalled, use a putty
knife to scrape off all traces of old adhesive, then
clean the quarter glass surface with alcohol where
adhesive is to be applied.
NOTE: Make sure the bonding surface is kept free
of water, oil and grease.
CAUTION: Avoid setting the quarter glass on its
edges; small chips may later develop into cracks.
NOTE: Clean the shadowed area.
