1. Remove the front console

Remove the shift cable holder.
Remove the shift cable cover.
R e m o v e t h e c o n t r o l l e v e r f r o m t h e c o n t r o l s h a f t ,
then remove the shift cable. Take care not to bend
the cable when removing/installing it.
