Troubleshooting
Recirculation Control Motor
Recirculation control door does
not change b€tween FRESH and
RECIRCULATE.
RECISCULATION CONTROL MOTOR
4P CONNECTOR
1
BLK/YEL
WIRE SIDE OF FEMALE TERMINALS
Check the No. 17 (7.5 Al {use in
the under-dash fuse/relay box.
Roplace the lus6, aod rscheck.
Check for an open in th6 wi.e:
1 . D i s c o n n e c t t h e r e c i r c u l a t i o n
control motor 4P connector.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON (ll).
3. Messure the voltage between
t h e N o . ' 1 t e r m i n a l a n d b o d y
grou nd.
Repair open in tho wirc botweon
the No. 17 tuse and lhe recircula-
tion control motor.
Check the recirculation control
motor:
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Test the recirculation control
motor (see page 2l 25).
Check the rccirculation control
linkago and door:
1. Remove the recirculation con-
trol motor (see page 2l-25).
2. Check the recirculation control
linkage and door for smooth
Oo the recirculation control link-
age and door move smoothly?
Repair the recirculation control
linkage or door.
