DTC 2-3 - With Front Passenger's Airbag
CAUTION: Whsnevor the ignition switch is ON ([), or
has been turned OFF for l6ss than th.6€ minut6s. be
caretul not to bump tho SRS unit; the airbags could
accidsntally daploy and caus6 damage or iniuries.

1. Erase the DTC memory (sse page 2+15).
2. Turn the ignition switch ON { ), and check that the SRS indi-
c6tor light comes on for about six seconds ahd goes off.

Chack to. . Bhon to another wir. or docroasod r$irtanca in
tho pr3sgngor'r airbag intlator:
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect the battery negative cable. then disconnect
the positive cable. and wait for three minutes.
3. Disconn€ct the tront passenggr's airbag 2P connector
trom the SRS main harn€ss {see page 24-11).
4. Connect the special tool (2 0) to the SRS main harness
2P connector,
CAUTION: Do not dbconnect tho driver'r airbag connoc-
tor.
5. Reconnect the battery positive cable, then reconnect the
negative cable.
6. Erase the DTC memory (see pase 24-15).
7. R6ad the DTC (see pag'e 24-131.
