10. Remove the cotter pins and castle nuts, then separate
the ball joints trom the lower arm (see section 18).

Remove the right damper fork bolt, then separate
r i g h t d a m p e r f o r k a n d d a m p e r .
Pry the right and left driveshafts out of the differen-
t i a l .
Pull on the inboard joint and the right and left drive,
shafts (see section 16).
Tje plastic bags over the driveshaft ends.
NOTE: Coat all precision finished surfaces with clean
e n g i n e o i l .
Remove the exhaust pipe A.

16. Remove the right front mount/bracket.
TF COOLER PIPE
ATF COOLER HOSE
R e m o v e t h e A T F c o o l e r h o s e s a t t h e A T F c o o l e r
pipes. Turn the ends of the ATF cooler hoses up to
prevent CVT fluid from flowjng out, then plug the
ATF cooler hoses and pipes.
NOTE: Check for any sign of leakage at the hose
joints.
Remove the engine stiffeners and the flywheel cover.

Remove the eight drive plate bolts one at time while
rotating the crankshaft pulley.
