Troubleshooting
The SRS Indicator Light Doesn't Gome On
CAUTION: Whenever the ignition switch is ON (lll. or
has been turned OFF tor less than three minutes, be
caretul not to bump the SRS unit; the airbag(s) could
accidentally deploy and cause damage or iniuries,
Check the power supply llu3e):
Turn the ignition switch ON (ll), and check whether the other
indicator lights come on or not {brake system, etc.).
Do the other indicator lights como on?
YES
NO
Check ihe fuse:
Check the No. 25 (7.5 Alfuse in the undeFdash fuse/relav
box.
ls th6 fuse OK?
NO
YES
Check tho bulb:
Replace the No. 25 (7.5 A) Iuse, and check that the
SRS indicator light comes on.
Does the SRS indicalor liqht come on?
I YES No
END
Check the wir€ harness between fuse and gauge assemblyl
Check for an open in the wire harness between fuse
No. 25 {7.5 A) and the gauge assembly, and repair. Check
that the sRs indicator laght comes on.
Doe3 the SRS indicator liqhl come on?
I yEs
No

END
Check th€ SRS indicato.light butb:
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2, Remove the gauge assembly,
3. Check for blown SRS indicator lioht butb.
ls the SRS indicator light butb OK?
YES
NO
Check the SRS indicator light circuit:
R e p l a c e t h e b u l b , a n d r e c o n n e c t t h e g a u g e a s s e m b l y
connectors. Then turn the ignilion switch ON (tl).
Does the SRS indicator light come on?
YES
No
