Initial settings and specifications of RS-485
communication (Pr.117 to Pr.124)
Use the following parameters to perform required settings for RS-485 communication between the converter and a
personal computer.
• Use the PU connector on the converter as communication interface.
• The Mitsubishi inverter protocol is used. Parameter setting, monitoring, etc. can be performed through
communication.
• To make communication between the personal computer and the converter, setting of the communication
specifications must be made to the converter in advance.
Data communication cannot be made if the settings are not made or if there is any setting error.

Setting range
Use this parameter to specify the converter station
number.
0 to 31
Set the station number for each converter when two
or more converters are connected to one personal
computer.
Set the communication speed.
The setting value × 100 equals the communication
48, 96, 192, 384
speed.
For example, enter 192 to set the communication
speed of 19200 bps.

Set the permissible number of retries for
unsuccessful data reception. When the number of
0 to 10
consecutive errors exceeds the permissible value,
the converter stops retrying for communication.
The converter does not retry for communication
