For the FR-XC-15K or lower, it is the gauge of a cable with the continuous maximum permissible temperature of 70°C (PVC cable). It assumes a surround-
ing air temperature of 40°C or less and the wiring distance of 20 m or less from the power supply to the converter.
For the FR-XC-22K / FR-XC-18.5K-PWM or higher, it is the gauge of a cable with the continuous maximum permissible temperature of 90°C (PVC cable). It
assumes a surrounding air temperature of 40°C or less and the wiring distance of 20 m or less from the power supply to the converter.
(Selection example mainly for use in Europe.)
∗4
If a cable thinner than the recommended cable size is used, it may not be protected by the DC fuse. (Refer to

It is the gauge of a cable with the continuous maximum permissible temperature of 75°C (HIV cable (600 V grade heat-resistant PVC insulated wire), etc.).
It assumes a surrounding air temperature of 50°C or less (40°C or less for the 40°C rating) and the wiring distance of 20 m or less from the power supply to
the converter.
∗2
The cable size is that of the THHW cable with continuous maximum permissible temperature of 75°C. It assumes a surrounding air temperature of 40°C or
less and the wiring distance of 20 m or less from the power supply to the converter.
(For the use in the United States or Canada, refer to
