set vline aggregate

Use the set vline aggregate command to specify the output port for AB aggregated traffic, either C or D port. Use
separate commands if you want to aggregate AB to both ports. This command is only valid when the module is operating
in Aggregation mode. Changes are only activated following a commit command.
When injecting packets back into the live network, the maximum packet size (MTU) supported is 1536 bytes.
Syntax
set vline aggregate { C | D } { On | Off }
Parameters
• C, D Specify the output port for aggregated traffic AB.
• On, Off Turn on or off aggregated output for the specified port.
Example
Enable V-Line Aggregation mode and turn on AB aggregated traffic for both C and D ports:
SLOT3>set vline mode aggregation
SLOT3>set vline aggregate c on
SLOT3>set vline aggregate d on
SLOT3>show vline
Use commit command to configure the vline with these settings
vline mode : aggregation
Heartbeat status ACDB : not OK
Heartbeat status BDCA : not OK
Aggregate ab -> c : on
Aggregate ab -> d : on
Inject ca : off
Inject cb : off
Inject da : off

set vline inject

Use the set vline inject command to specify a packet inject port pairing, either C→A, C→B, D→A, or D→B.
For example, if C→ A is selected, packets from the tool connected at port C are injected into the live network connected
at port A. Use separate commands if you want to set up several injection ports. This command is only valid when the V-
Line module is operating in Aggregation mode. Changes are only activated following a commit command.
Syntax
set vline inject { CA | CB | DA | DB } { On | Off }
Parameters
• CA, CB, DA, DB Specify the injection port pairing. For example, if CA is specified, packets from the tool at C port
are injected into the live network at port A.
• On, Off Turn on or off packet injection for the specified pairing.
Example
Enable V-Line Aggregation mode and turn on C→A and D→B injection:
