type). This device supports three notifications types: SNMP, system, and health. All notifications are disabled on the
device by default. Note that the snmp apply command is not required after use of the snmp enable notify command.
Syntax
snmp disable notify { SNMP | System | Health | All }
Parameters
SNMP Turn off SNMP notifications. Events which trigger an SNMP notification are (SNMP message name shown in
brackets):
System cold boot (coldStart)
System restarted (warmStart)
SNMP authentication failure (authenticationFailure)
System Turn off System notifications. Events which trigger a System notification are:
Port link-up state (linkUp)
Port link-down state (linkDown)
Data rate above high threshold (nctapNotifyXSTrafficOver)
Data rate below low threshold (nctapNotifyXSTrafficUnder
Module inserted or removed (nctapNotifyCard)
Failed login attempt (ncUnauthorisedAccess)
Health Turn off Health notifications. Events which trigger a Health notification are:
System temperature above threshold (nctapNotifySysTemperature)
Module temperature above threshold (nctapNotifyTemperature)
Power on/off (nctapNotifyPower)
Fan on/off (nctapNotifyFan)
All Turn off notifications for SNMP, System, and Health.
Example
Turn off Health notifications:
CONTROLLER>snmp disable notify health
CONTROLLER>snmp show notify
SNMP
notify : off
system notify : off
health notify : off
CONTROLLER>apply

snmp show host

Use the snmp show host command to show list all SNMP hosts configured on this device.
Syntax
snmp show host
Parameters
This command has no arguments or keywords.
Example
Show SNMP hosts:
CONTROLLER>snmp show host
Notify Host number 0
host : 192.168.0.3
Notify type : trap
