• You are able to assign up to 13 ports per processor core. However, note
that four FC ports of a Hitachi 8Gb FC adapter use the equivalent
resources of one port and three FC ports of the Hitachi 16Gb FC adapter
use the equivalent resources of one port.
• The relation between the number of processor cores and the maximum
number of card ports which can be assigned is shown below.
