Secure RS-232 Interface API Permissions

You must log in with a password in order to start an RS-232 session if the system is configured with the
Maximum Security Profile.
API Permissions Table
You can log in with either the Admin ID and Admin Remote Password or the User ID and User Remote
Password of the Polycom HDX system. The available API commands depend on which type of ID you use
to start the session, as shown in the following table.
