Access density and processing capability

RSR20-24 comes with four SIC slots, which supports up to two non-channelized E1,
four ISDN U or S/T interfaces, three sync serial interfaces, three 3G interface cards,
four Layer 2 switching Ethernet interfaces, and 64 asyn serial interfaces to provide the
high-density remote OA solution. Moreover, RSR20-24 comes with two NMX slots that
supports sixteen non-channelized E1,eight sync serial interfaces, fortyeight Layer 2
switching Ethernet interfaces,four gigabit Ethernet interfaces. The E1 interface
complies with ITU-T G.703; the ISDN U interface complies with ITU-T G.961 ANSI
T1.601, and the ISDN S/T interface complies with ITU-T I.430. The sync serial port can
connect the networks such as DDN, frame relay, and X.25. These make the router
suitable as an access router for large/medium-sized branches.
 Reliability
Backup center technology greatly improves network reliability, various backup modes
are available for high reliability requirements
 Compatibility
RSR20-24 is fully compatible with equipments of other suppliers
 Power supply
By using high-quality power supplies, RSR20-24 provides protection for surge,
overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent and other power problems to deliver stable and
reliable output, and supports transient power interruption protection.
 External Structure
With the standard 19" chassis shielding electromagnetic radiation, RSR20-24can be
installed on racks. It is highly resistant to shock, high/low temperatures, and
electromagnetic radiation, and works stably.
Certification

RSR20-24has passed the test of telecom access network equipment by the MII
1-20
1. SIC-4ESW can only be inserted in SIC slot 1.
2. The V2.X hardware
NMX-8E1/CE1H must be used combining with the mainprogram of the
10.3(4b3) and the higher version. And the mainprogram of 10.3(4b3)
version support only the E1mode of this two cards.
