4 Configure the VCX firewall to pass oracle packets.
/opt/3com/VCX/bin/modfw -p oracle allow 10.20.30.40
/opt/3com/VCX/bin/modfw -p oracle allow 10.20.30.41
The IP addresses for these commands are the addresses of the eth0 and
eth1 Ethernet adapters on the primary VCX server.
5 On the secondary VCX server, log in as root and enter these commands.
/opt/3com/VCX/bin/modfw -p oracle allow 10.20.30.40
/opt/3com/VCX/bin/modfw -p oracle allow 10.20.30.41
The IP addresses for these commands are the addresses of the eth0 and
eth1 Ethernet adapters on the primary VCX server.
6 Enter these commands to enable database replication.
su - cworks
cd /opt/3com/VCX/auth/bin
./setupReplication
Replication is now enabled for both the authentication and directory
applications.
