To restart the authentication server:
1 Log in as root or cworks to the server on which the authentication server
software resides.
2 Enter these commands:
cd /opt/3com/VCX/auth/scripts/init.d
./S99auth restart
To obtain the status of the directory server:
1 Log in as cworks or root to the server on which the directory server
software resides.
2 Enter these commands:
cd /opt/3com/VCX/dir/scripts/init.d
./S99dir status
To start the directory server:
1 Log in as cworks on the server on which the directory server software
resides.
2 Enter these commands:
cd /opt/3com/VCX/dir/scripts/init.d
./S99dir start
To stop the directory server:
1 Log in as cworks on the server on which the directory server software
resides.
2 Enter these commands:
cd /opt/3com/VCX/dir/scripts/init.d
./S99dir stop
