HDCP-Compliant HDMI Loop-Out

The HDCP-Compliant Loop-Out can be used as a local monitor output or can be fed into
a hardware video codec. If the local monitor connected is not HDCP compliant, the HDCP
compliance setting can be changed via PCS (see
panel (see
Loop Output Format

Mic/Line Input

A multiple mic mixer, usually a DSP with AEC, can be connected to the Mic/Line input. The
Mic/Line input is sent via the USB output to the computer to be sent to the far end of a soft
codec device, but not to the analog Line output. The Mic/Line input is also sent to the Aux
output, which can be connected to a hardware video codec (see
102), or to a sound reinforcement voicelift system.
NOTE: Mic/Line input signal is not sent to the Analog Line Output of the MediaPort 200.

USB Communications Input

USB communications from the far end is mixed with the line inputs (except the Mic/Line
input) and sent to the analog Line outputs for local sound reinforcement. It is also summed
and sent by itself to the Ref output.

Audio Line Inputs

The following MediaPort 200 line inputs are typically used for program audio:
These line inputs are mixed to the USB output and sent to the far end and to the analog
Line output. The analog line output signal path also mixes in the USB communications audio
from the far end, while the USB audio output path does not.

USB Playback Input

The local computer can be used as a program audio source via the USB connection. PC
playback audio is independent of the far end USB communication audio sent from the
computer to the MediaPort 200.
NOTE: If using a Web-based soft codec, communications audio is sometimes recognized

Line Input (analog)

Connect an analog program audio source to the Line input. This could be the output of
an auxiliary program source such as a CD or DVD player, mobile device, media player, or
switcher.
