12.5.2 Configuring Service Instances

This section describes how to configure service instances in the system view.
Context
After service instances are created, they can be bound to a service instance group.
HA supports the NAT444 and DS-Lite service features. NAT and DS-Lite instances are created
as needed.
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Issue 02 (2014-09-30)
Configure a CGN device with multiple service boards or multiple CGN devices having
service boards inserted.
Enable HA hot standby on the CGN device.
Configure an HA backup group on the CGN device.
Data
Name and index of a service instance
Name of the service instance group
Index of the configured HA backup group
NOTE
Perform the follow-up steps as required.
l To create only a NAT instance, perform step 2.
l To create only a DS-Lite instance, perform step 3.
l To create only a NAT and a DS-Lite instance, perform steps 2 and 3.
