(Optional) Setting the Revertive Switching Delay
This section describes how to set the active/standby revertive switching delay in the system
view.
Context
When the active service board recovers, the active service board takes over services from the
standby service board after the specified revertive switching delay reaches.
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
service-ha preempt-time preempt-time
The active/standby revertive switching delay is set.

Checking the Configurations
You can run corresponding display commands to check the configurations of members in the
HA backup group and active/standby relationship for HA backup between service boards on a
single device.

Run the display service-ha global-information [ hot-backup-state |delay-time |
preempt-time ] command to check global HA configurations, including the hot backup
status, backup delay time, and the switchback time.
Run the display service-location service-location-id command to check the HA backup
group configuration.
Run the display service-ha global-information delay-time command to check the backup
delay of HA hot standby.
<HUAWEI> display service-ha global-information delay-time
service-ha delay-time 20
Run the display service-ha global-information preempt-time command to check the
revertive switching delay of HA hot standby.
