Installing Power Supplies

The Sun Datacenter Switch 3456 ships with 6 power supplies installed. Depending
upon your configuration more power supplies might be needed. It is good practice
to install as many power supplies as reasonably possible, as it promotes future
expansion and extended service life.

▼ To Install Power Supplies

1. Unwrap the power supply from its antistatic packaging.
2. Swing open the release lever.
3. Orient the power supply with the handle on the left and the receptacle on the
right.
4. Slide the power supply into the open slot, pushing it in until the release lever
moves.
