Functional description
INPUTS CURRENT INPUT OPERATION
Use this function to display the actual value of the input current.

Use this function to activate simulation of the current input.

Note!
• Active simulation is indicated by the notice message "SIM. CURR. INP. 1" (# 661).
• The value output for the simulation at the current input is specified in the VALUE
SIMULATION CURRENT INPUT function (5242).
• The measuring device continues to measure while simulation is in progress, i.e. the
current measuring values are output correctly via the other outputs and the display.

The setting is not saved if the power supply fails.

Note!
This function is not available unless the SIMULATION CURRENT INPUT function
(5241) is switched on.
Use this function to define a freely selectable value (e.g. 12 mA) to be simulated at the
current input. This value is used to test downstream devices and the measuring device
itself.

Factory setting
0.00 mA or 4 mA (depending on the setting in function 5201)
