using legacy commands.

Create VLAN 1000 and 2000.

(Netgear Switch) (Vlan)#exit
2.
Configure port 1/0/1 as an access port.
(Netgear Switch) #config
(Netgear Switch) (Config)#interface 1/0/1
(Netgear Switch) (Interface 1/0/1)#switchport mode access
(Netgear Switch) (Interface 1/0/1)#switchport access vlan 1000
(Netgear Switch) (Interface 1/0/1)#exit
