Configure the switch to communicate with the Microsoft network policy server.
In this example, the IP address of the Microsoft network policy server is 10.1.10.46. The
shared key between the switch and the server must match.
a. Select Security > Management Security > RADIUS > Server Configuration.
A screen similar to the following displays.
b. Configure the following settings:
In the RADIUS Server IP Address field, enter 10.1.10.46.
In the RADIUS Server Name field, enter Microsoft-NPS.
In the Port field, enter 1812.
From the Secret Configured menu, select Yes.
In the Secret field, enter the secret key.
From the Primary Server menu, select Yes.
From the Message Authenticator menu, select Enable.
From the Server Type menu, select Standard.
c. Click Add.
4.
Configure the port that connects to the Microsoft network policy server (in this example,
port 1/0/1) to be force-authorized:
a. Select Security > Port Authentication > Advance > Port Authentication.
A screen similar to the following displays.
b. Select the check box that corresponds to port 0/1.
