Type Vl, Shaft Ride Transmission
Transmission Assembly
1. Install sprocket on front output shaft with sprocket
boss side inward as shown.
2. Assemble front and rear output shafts.
3. Install front and rear output shafts with chain as an
assembly.
4. Reinstall cover and torque bolts in a criss-cross pattern
in 3 steps to 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm).
5. Install new front and rear output shaft seals.
