7. Make sure hole in oil deflector is clear and
unobstructed.
8. Using a puller remove Hi/Lo/Reverse (HLR) shaft
bearing, and bearing thrust washer.
9. Turn transmission so shafts are pointing down. Slide
the Low gear in and out until needle bearing slides out
of gear and can be removed. Remove needle bearing,
low gear, and inner thrust washer.
