Configuring LLDP-MED for an Office VoIP
Deployment
VoIP deployments may optionally use LLDP-MED.
LLDP-MED advertises VLAN, dot1P, and DSCP configurations on the switch so that you do not need to
manually configure every phone with this information. In the following example, the phone initiates a DHCP
request on the advertised voice VLAN, VLAN 200.
