(d) Click OK.
(e) Save the configuration by clicking on the Save Configuration button above the menu
navigation.
Note the following rules on password use:
• The password must not be easy to guess. Names, car registration numbers, dates of
birth, etc. should not be chosen as passwords.
• The password should contain at least one character that is not a letter (special character
or number).
• The password should be at least 8 characters long.
• Change your password regularly, e.g. every 90 days.

4.6 Setting up a wireless network

If you run your device in Access Point mode, you must set up a wireless network.
Proceed as follows:
(1) Go to Wireless LAN -> WLANx -> Radio Settings ->
(2) In Operating Mode, select Access Point.
(3) Leave the default settings in all other fields.
(4) Click on OK.
(5) Go to Wireless LAN -> WLANx -> Virtual Service Sets ->
(6) In Network name (SSID) enter, for example, Funkwerk-ec.
(7) Under Security Mode, select WPA-PSK.
(8) In Preshared Key enter, for example, supersecret.
(9) Leave the default settings for all other fields.
(10) Click on OK.

4.7 Setting up a bridge link

If you run your device in Bridge mode, you must set up a bridge link.
Bridge link autoconfiguration
(1) Go to Wireless LAN -> WLANx -> Radio Settings ->
(2) In Operation Mode, select Bridge.
(3) Leave the default settings in all other fields.
