Revisione pompa olio
Una volta aperta, procedere ai
seguenti controlli:
- gioco tra i denti degli ingranaggi;
- gioco radiale tra ingranaggi e corpo
- gioco assiale tra ingranaggi e
Il limite di servizio deve risultare
quello prescritto (Sez. C 1).
Verificare inoltre le condizioni
delle superfici di accoppiamento
sul coperchio e sul corpo pompa:
non devono presentare solchi,
scalini o rigature.
Lavare e soffiare con aria compressa i
canali interni.
Ricomposizione pompa
olio

Inserire sull'estremità
dell'ingranaggio conduttore pompa
olio (3), l'ingranaggio comando
pompa (12), l'anello elastico (20) e
la bussola (13).
Bloccare i componenti appena
installati, inserendo l'anello seeger (19)
nell'apposita sede.

Inserire nel coperchio pompa (2)
la valvola by pass (17), la molla (16)
e avvitare il tappo (14).
Serrare il tappo (14) alla coppia
prescritta (Sez. C 3) applicando
un frenafiletti medio.
Assemblare il coperchio (2) al corpo
pompa (5) completo di ingranaggi.
Avvitare le viti (23) e (6) di fissaggio
coperchio pompa.

Serrare le viti alla coppia prescritta
(Sez. C 3).

Note
Una volta ricomposta, riempire
Oil pump overhaul
After disassembly of the oil pump,
check the following:
- backlash between gear teeth;
- radial play between gears and
pump body;
- end float between gears and pump
cover.
The service limit must be as specified
(Sect. C 1).
Also check the condition of mating
surface on the cover and the pump
body: there must be no signs of
grooves, steps, or scoring.
Flush internal passages and blow
with compressed air.
Reassembly of the oil
pump
On the end of oil pump driving gear (3),
fit pump drive gear (12), snap ring (20)
and bush (13).
Secure components just installed
inserting circlip (19) in its groove.
Install by-pass valve (17) and
spring (16) on pump cover (2),
and screw in plug (14).
Tighten plug (14) to the specified
torque (Sect. C 3), applying a
medium-strength threadlocker.
Fit cover (2) to pump body (5)
complete with gears.
Tighten pump cover retaining
screws (23) and (6).
Tighten the screws to the specified
torque (Sect. C 3).
Notes
Once reassembled, fill the
pump with engine oil before refitting.
