Using CLI

The procedure below describes how to assign a VoIP LAN IP address, using CLI.
Notes:
To assign a LAN IP address using CLI:
1.
Connect the RS-232 port of the device to the serial communication port on your
computer. For more information, refer to the Hardware Installation Manual.
2.
Establish a serial communication link with the device using a terminal emulator
program (such as HyperTerminal) with the following communication port settings:
Baud Rate: 115,200 bps
Data Bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop Bits: 1
Flow Control: None

TP-6310 or TP-8410 Blade in Slot 1: 10.1.10.10
TP-6310 or TP-8410 Blade in Slot 3: 10.1.10.11 (only for
HA mode)
255.255.0.0
0.0.0.0
For HA mode, this method changes only the local, private IP addresses
of the blades. These IP addresses are used for maintenance and fallback
in case of a major problem preventing the device from operating in HA
mode.
To operate in HA mode, the "global" IP addresses must be configured in
the Multiple Interface table.
