19.1.14 Active SBC Call Continuity during HA Blade Switchover
The device maintains active SBC call sessions during a blade switchover (when in High
Availability/HA mode). Upon blade failure, the standby blade takes over from the previously
active blade and current SBC calls are preserved (and not disconnected).

SBC Configuration
This section describes the configuration of the SBC application.

The General Settings page allows you to configure general SBC parameters. For a
description of these parameters, see 'SBC Parameters' on page 747.
To configure general parameters:

Open the General Settings page (Configuration tab > VoIP menu > SBC submenu >
General Settings).

For the SBC application, the following requirements must be met:

The SBC application is enabled (see 'Enabling Applications' on page
229).
•
The 'SBC' Software Upgrade Key is installed on the device (see 'Loading
Software Upgrade Key' on page 493).
