4. Using a tyre lever, remove the casing from the rim.
5. For pneumatic tyres: Press the valve to the inside
through the rim.
6. For pneumatic tyres: Pull out the tube.
7. For pneumatic tyres: Repair the inner tube with a
standard tyre repair kit or replace it with a new one.
8. If applicable, replace the defective casing with a new
one and install it on the rim.
9. Join the two parts of the rim using the five Allen head
screws.
10. For pneumatic tyres: Inflate the tyre; observe the
allowable tyre pressure.
11. Reinstall the wheel on the power wheelchair
(see Section 9.3.1 and 9.3.2).
