The back rest can be equipped with an electric back angle
adjustment option (see Figure 35). It is controlled by the joy-
stick in "additional function" mode or by the push button
module.
The backrest can be inclined backwards continuously by up
to 30°.

Preparing Power Wheelchairs with Back Angle Adjust-
ment for Transport
To obtain the folding size, the following must be done with
the back angle adjustment:
„ Release the cross bolt at the lower end of the drive unit
(by pushing up the lever, see arrow in Figure 36).
„ Remove the bolt from the holder.
„ Remove the side panels and fold down the seat back
onto the seat bottom.
