9.3.2 Drive wheel replacement

Proceed as follows:
1. Turn off the control unit.
2. Raise the power wheelchair, e.g. using a jack, so that
the wheel being replaced can turn freely.
3. Loosen the four Allen head screws using an Allen
wrench size 6 and remove them including the spring
washers.
4. Pull the drive wheel forward off the wheel hub.
5. Push the new drive wheel onto the wheel hub.
6. Put the spring washers on.
7. Alternately tighten the four Allen head screws crosswise.
8. Check proper tightness with a torque wrench.
INFORMATION
When reassembling the wheel, tighten the screws to a
torque of 25 Nm.

9.3.3 Replacing the casing and/or tube for
pneumatic tyres
The wheel rims are in two parts and can be separated by
removing the Allen head screws. Proceed as follows:
1. Remove the wheel in question from the power wheel-
chair (see Section 9.3.1 and 9.3.2).
2. For pneumatic tyres: Let all the air out of the tyre.
3. Loosen all five Allen head screws that connect the two
parts of the rim to each other using an Allen wrench
size 6. Remove the screws.
