Operation
WARNING
Risk of tipping due to changing the battery position. En-
sure that the batteries are up against the stop during in-
stallation and that there is no play between the batteries
and track when installing the track.
NOTICE
Unauthorised battery replacement. Changing the battery
installation location may only be completed by a specialist
dealer.
By default, the batteries in the power wheelchair are installed
in the far forward position. Where required according to the
indications, e.g. dwarfism, the installation position of the bat-
teries in the battery drawer must be changed.
Changing the installation position of the batteries shifts the
centre of gravity of the power wheelchair. The driving char-
acteristics of the power wheelchair were tested with all
three possible battery positions and conform to the test
standard requirements in all cases.
Proceed as follows:
1. Turn off the control unit.
2. Remove the fuse (see Section 9.2).

3. Remove the batteries (see Section 6.6.4)
4. Loosen the two Allen head screws on the stop using an
Allen wrench size 4 and remove the stop.
5. Move the stop according to the mounting bores on the
bottom of the battery drawer and reattach the stop
using the two Allen head screws.
6. Put the batteries back into place.
7. Reinstall the batteries (see Section 6.6.4).
